Escher Cats! – Catwoman #24!

We’re really starting to hit some art that makes me go “Jim, Jim, what happened??” ‘but’ we are also at the emotional (and bloody) end of the Family Ties story arc. So, without further ado … a cover even worse than the last one.

Also, the one guy seems to be possessed. Or his eyes rolled aaaallll the way back in his head, showing the whites.

At least she’s wearing an appropriate expression for the amount of pain she must be in. And the guys are getting much the same treatment. Seriously. Don’t try to figure out which legs belong to who or what they’re doing.

Sunday Fun Day: Where’s Waldo, Jim Balent Catwoman Style (Week Twelve)

This week brings a new (or is that, temporary? Chuck Dixon returns afterwards) writer and a new story arc that will take up all of this week’s three covers/issues. It also brings the start of what I find to be a decline in Balent’s art and the end of a lovely continuous run of solved and not previously posted covers. It also apparently brings long sentences with it too. 🙂 So, head below the cut for “Family Ties” (and not the sitcom either. unless that had a deadly, cursed dagger in it) and a teaser of what’s to come in the next installment. 🙂

I still have some early Balent covers to burn off, so here’s Catwoman #6 to give you a good look at how good the art originally was. Also, I think AzBats is trying to show Catwoman that his claws are more awesome than hers.
