Escher Cats! – Catwoman #22!

I normally don’t like to split up multi-part stories, but with Catfiles, post-Catfiles wrap-up, and Catwoman’s movie adventure, breaking up a story is kind of inevitable. So, without further ado, part one of the cursed dagger adventure.

And, yet again, Catwoman tries to save the antagonists and is unable to. But she does get the dagger in the end, as a gift from the last surviving family member before he follows everyone else to the grave.

Spoiler: There’s not actually a curse, but there is a really tragic, bloody family feud and Catwoman accidentally lands in the middle of it.

Sunday Fun Day: Where’s Waldo, Jim Balent Catwoman Style (Week Twelve)

This week brings a new (or is that, temporary? Chuck Dixon returns afterwards) writer and a new story arc that will take up all of this week’s three covers/issues. It also brings the start of what I find to be a decline in Balent’s art and the end of a lovely continuous run of solved and not previously posted covers. It also apparently brings long sentences with it too. 🙂 So, head below the cut for “Family Ties” (and not the sitcom either. unless that had a deadly, cursed dagger in it) and a teaser of what’s to come in the next installment. 🙂

I still have some early Balent covers to burn off, so here’s Catwoman #6 to give you a good look at how good the art originally was. Also, I think AzBats is trying to show Catwoman that his claws are more awesome than hers.
