Escher Cats! – Issue 9!

It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s Zephyr and the Mysterious Case of the Missing Underwear!

Seriously. Floaty fabric is awesome for this character's costume. Just, please, let it have a little closer relationship to reality. It's like we're supposed to have the illusion she's wearing underwear, but also maybe the illusion she isn't, but without confirming either way because that would be Inappropriate. Would a yellow thong really hurt anybody? Rhetorical question.

Or Zephyr is wearing incredibly high waisted underwear that is causing the pained expression on her face.

This is actually a fairly heavy issue and, as always, this Catwoman is solidly on team disenfranchised, marginalized kids (because she was one herself). So, hopefully, Zephyr never shows her face again, given the consequences of her actions in this issue.

Sometimes you just don't feel right. And neither do the people on the cover.

By which I mean, spoiler, one of the kids dies because of Zephyr’s actions and influence. Also, this one only has one box marked off but that’s because there wasn’t a box for vague unease when looking at everyone’s bodies and poses.

And that’s it for this time, folks. As always, the Catwoman comics belong to DC, not me, and Escher Girls is the creation of the awesome Ami Angelwings. And the Escher Girls bingo card belongs to the Escher Girls fan who created it.
