Escher Cats! – Catwoman #48!

For the sake of my readers I am going to skip having an image before the cut because if you have spider issues, this issue’s cover is not for you. It’s really, really not. Maximum tarantulas per inch kind of not.

And yet that’s still probably the most exciting thing about it. Not a Moench fan, me.

Also, wow, seriously, that's a lot of spiders.

Sadly the spiders still don’t totally obscure the bad anatomy Selina’s got going on.

Better names, with covers to match, for this issue would include Selina Kyle and the Underwater Base of the Crystal Skull (yes, really, the boss and gadget guy Moench foisted on her sent Selina to steal a crystal skull) and Selina Kyle and the Great Octopus Caper. There are no spiders.  Just a woman with an improbably long pony tail and a criminal organization trying way too hard with acronyms. Oh and a Bane knock-off with a spider tattooed on his face.

Yuck.

I wasn’t quite sure what to mark here, but pretty sure you shouldn’t be making a point of someone’s breasts and curves (and organless torso!!) still being visible when they’re under attack by a huge number of large spiders.

As always, Catwoman and any and all octopus … encounters that happen in her official comic belong to DC Comics and Escher Girls is the creation of the awesome Ami Angelwings. And the Escher Girls bingo card belongs to the Escher Girls fan who created it.
