Escher Cats! – Catwoman #46!

After a month’s hiatus for my Pride Month Post Party and then a series of local power and internet outages, I and my Escher Cats feature are back with … more Doug Moench penned Catwoman issues. Apparently Two-Face doesn’t like starch on his clothes.

You think I'm kidding? You'll wish I was kidding. Oh 90s.

He’s also breaking out of prison and planning crimes against shirts.

The one positive thing I can say about this issue is that is does nothing Escher Girls worthy on the front cover.

Not impressed and bored are my two main emotions while trying to go back through and look at the issue in order to write this.

The interior art, however, is another story. As is the story itself.

A lot of the issue is the Two-Face show, with sides of Catwoman and She-Cat (way to push aside a unique-to-Catwoman villain in favour of a … Batman villain). Plus, it’s back to the weird Moench fascination with pairing her up with a guy who wants to know everything about Catwoman and psychoanalyze her based on her stolen childhood diary from the weird shrine in that other bad issue and speculate as to what her civilian identity is like. It’s not good. Also this happens too.

Also this happens. Don’t ask me to explain. I can’t. Oh 90s.

More Two-Face next time and, as always, Catwoman and any and all questionable choices made in her comic belong to DC Comics and Escher Girls is the creation of the awesome Ami Angelwings. And the Escher Girls bingo card belongs to the Escher Girls fan who created it.
