Escher Cats! – Catwoman #45!

Catwoman trying to kill the hitmen trying to kill her after she was sold out/not sold out by her new business partner from the She-cats storyline is … surprisingly pretty enjoyable. It’s still the quality level of the other Moench penned stories but the cover put me in a good mood. Or something.

The lettering, background, and overall image aren't the most exciting thing ever but I do enjoy them. And it feels more like early Balent than a lot of the covers have recently.

Horror homage and no weird suit boobs. This cover is a win.

I … actually didn’t mark anything on the card for this one. I can’t totally tell if all’s right with the pelvis on the Selina skeletons but there’s no weird posing going on and no skeleboobs. And, again, I did enjoy the story pretty well for a Moench-penned story. So, win-win this go-around.

Next up is apparently Two-face (I checked the tagline on the last page), so, as always, Catwoman, and her business partners old and new, belongs to DC Comics, and Escher Girls is the creation of the awesome Ami Angelwings. And the Escher Girls bingo card belongs to the Escher Girls fan who created it.
